          • Generally benign bone tumor composed of sheets of neoplastic ovoid mononuclear cells interspersed with uniformly distributed large osteoclast-like giant cells
          • Rare malignant GCT (5% of all GCT)
            • Primary malignant GCT: Arises within benign GCT
            • Secondary malignant GCT: 2 varieties
              • Majority: Secondary to treatment of initially benign GCT with radiation
              • Minority: Arise in recurrence of once benign GCT
