                • Paratubal cyst
              • Definitions

                • Represent remnants of paramesonephric (müllerian) or mesonephric (wolffian) ducts
                • Located in broad ligament between ovary and fallopian tube
                  • When located at fimbriated end of fallopian tube, they are called hydatid cysts, or cysts of Morgagni (smaller in size, averaging < 2 cm)
              • Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting and Data System and Risk Stratification

                • Paraovarian cyst is considered to be category 2 based on Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting and Data System (O-RADS), a.k.a. O-RADS 2
                  • Risk stratification: Almost certainly benign category (1% risk of malignancy)
